Who you are
You have a solid background in software engineering with a focus on AI and application security — you understand the nuances of securing AI-driven features and have experience working with various AI technologies. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with developers and product teams to ensure security is integrated into the design process from the start.
You possess strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for identifying potential security risks in applications — your analytical mindset allows you to evaluate complex systems and propose effective solutions. You are comfortable communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned on security best practices.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for securing Amplitude's emerging AI-powered features, including chatbots and agentic systems. You will evaluate risks associated with AI-driven features and guide secure design practices to mitigate those risks. Collaborating with AI product teams, you will help shape the security architecture of new features, ensuring they meet industry standards and best practices.
You will also work closely with developers to implement security measures throughout the development lifecycle, conducting code reviews and providing feedback on security implications of design choices. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering a culture of security awareness within the engineering team, helping to educate peers on the importance of secure coding practices.
