Angi is hiring a Senior Accountant for their General Ledger team to play a key role in the month-end accounting close process. You'll be responsible for preparing journal entries and account reconciliations. This position requires experience in corporate general ledger accounting.

Who you are
You are a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting, particularly in general ledger processes. You have experience preparing month-end journal entries and account reconciliations, and you are skilled at researching and resolving accounting discrepancies. Your ability to maintain internal controls and work with auditors makes you a valuable asset to any accounting team.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams, including FP&A and accounting, to understand variances and provide explanations. Your strong analytical skills enable you to prepare consolidated reporting schedules and contribute to the company's quarterly reporting package. You are committed to ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting practices.
What you'll do
In this role, you will prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations for GL accounts, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. You will research and resolve any accounting discrepancies and irregularities, maintaining a high standard of accuracy in your work. You will also prepare consolidated reporting schedules that are included in the companyβs quarterly reporting package, collaborating closely with FP&A and accounting teams to understand variances and provide necessary explanations.
Additionally, you will maintain internal controls and work with both internal and external auditors to ensure that audit requests are addressed promptly. Your role will provide a solid foundation in corporate general ledger accounting and an introduction to Angi Homeservicesβ business operations, allowing you to grow your skills and advance your career in accounting.
