Who you are
You have a solid background in accounting, particularly in general ledger processes, and are eager to contribute to a dynamic team. Your attention to detail ensures that month-end journal entries and account reconciliations are prepared accurately and on time. You are proactive in researching and resolving accounting discrepancies, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining high standards in financial reporting.
You understand the importance of internal controls and are comfortable working with both internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and address audit requests. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with FP&A and accounting teams, providing insights into variances and contributing to consolidated reporting schedules.
What you'll do
In this role, you will prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations for GL accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will research and resolve any accounting discrepancies and irregularities, playing a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial data. Additionally, you will prepare consolidated reporting schedules included in the companyβs quarterly reporting package, which will require close collaboration with FP&A and accounting teams to understand variances and provide explanations.
You will also maintain internal controls and work with both internal and external auditors to ensure that audit requests are addressed promptly. This position offers a great foundation in corporate general ledger accounting and an introduction to Angi Homeservicesβ business operations, allowing you to grow your skills in a supportive environment.
