Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in engineering management with a focus on infrastructure — you've led teams in designing, building, and operating scalable systems that support complex software products. Your experience includes improving reliability, security, scalability, and performance in a cloud environment.
You possess a collaborative mindset and enjoy working cross-functionally with other engineering teams — you understand the importance of aligning technical strategies with business goals and can effectively communicate these strategies to diverse stakeholders.
You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies — while you may have experience with GCP, PostgreSQL, and TypeScript, you are also willing to explore other tools and frameworks as needed to achieve team objectives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Infrastructure team at Anrok, setting the technical strategy for the infrastructure that supports the tax automation platform. You will drive technical decisions and ensure that the systems are reliable, secure, and scalable to meet the demands of a growing user base.
You will collaborate closely with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure with product development — your leadership will guide the team in implementing best practices for system design and operations.
You will be responsible for mentoring team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and encouraging innovation within the team. Your hands-on approach will help you stay connected with the technical aspects of the work while also focusing on team development and performance management.
What we offer
Anrok provides a dynamic work environment where you can make a significant impact on the company's growth and success. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to a product that simplifies tax compliance for businesses worldwide.
