You have 7-10+ years of experience building production full-stack software with a focus on usability — you've successfully delivered projects that prioritize user experience and developer satisfaction. Your strong communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that product features are seamlessly integrated into the developer console. You are product-minded and understand how to leverage AI capabilities to enhance developer tools and workflows.

You thrive in environments where you can propose and implement improvements to the developer experience — your ability to analyze user feedback and translate it into actionable insights has led to significant enhancements in past projects. You are comfortable working closely with researchers to understand new model capabilities and design innovative products that maximize the use of APIs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build out both the frontend and backend systems that help developers bring their applications to production — your work will directly impact how developers interact with the Anthropic API. You will partner with various teams to ensure that new product features are integrated into the developer console in an intuitive way, enhancing the overall user experience. Your product sense will guide you in proposing and implementing improvements that make the API more accessible and effective for developers.

You will collaborate with researchers to understand the capabilities of Claude and design unique products that help users maximize their use of the Anthropic API — this will involve a mix of technical development and user experience design. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative environment where innovative ideas can flourish.
