Anthropic is seeking a Data Center Hardware Operations Lead to manage end-to-end operations across their data center hardware. Who you are
You have extensive experience in data center operations, with a strong understanding of hardware management and deployment processes. Your background includes working with high-performance computing systems, and you are adept at developing scalable processes for efficient operations. You thrive in complex environments and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
You are a subject matter expert in data center infrastructure, capable of managing relationships with vendors and partners. Your leadership skills enable you to coordinate deployment schedules effectively while ensuring that all operations align with organizational goals. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to incident response and maintenance.
Desirable
Experience in managing large-scale data center operations is a plus. Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and a passion for AI systems will set you apart. You are comfortable working in fast-paced settings and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.
What you'll do
As the Hardware Operations Lead, you will define and oversee the operations of Anthropic's data center hardware. This includes managing the physical deployment of hardware, ensuring that all systems are operational and maintained to the highest standards. You will be responsible for material movement and incident response, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
You will collaborate closely with design, engineering, and capacity planning teams to develop and implement processes that enhance operational efficiency.
