Who you are
You are an experienced legal professional with a strong background in commercial law, particularly in structuring and negotiating partnership agreements. You have a proven track record of working with technology companies, ideally in the AI sector, and understand the complexities involved in multi-party agreements. Your ability to balance legal risk management with business growth objectives makes you a trusted advisor to your colleagues. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with business development teams to drive strategic initiatives.
Desirable
Experience in the AI industry or with technology integrations is a plus. Familiarity with ISV agreements and reseller arrangements will help you navigate the unique challenges of this role. You are proactive in your approach and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all agreements align with the company's strategic goals.
What you'll do
As the Commercial Counsel for Partnerships and Alliances at Anthropic, you will own the end-to-end legal strategy for the company's partnership ecosystem. This includes drafting, negotiating, and closing complex agreements that involve technical integrations and joint go-to-market strategies. You will serve as the primary legal partner to the Partnerships and Business Development teams, providing strategic counsel that supports aggressive growth objectives while managing legal risks. Your role will require you to work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that all agreements are structured effectively and align with the company's mission to create reliable and beneficial AI systems.
