Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Risk, and Compliance, sets you apart. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent negotiation skills, allowing you to craft agreements that align with both legal standards and business objectives.

Desirable

Experience in a startup environment or with in-house legal teams is a plus. Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance issues will enhance your ability to contribute effectively. You are proactive in identifying potential legal challenges and are skilled at providing practical solutions that support business growth.

What you'll do

In this role, you will architect novel partnership structures that enable modern banking experiences. You will work closely with Column's Sales & Partnerships, Risk, and Compliance teams to define how deals are structured and ensure they comply with regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on legal risks, and developing strategies to mitigate those risks. You will also play a key role in educating internal teams about legal considerations in their operations and partnerships, fostering a culture of compliance and awareness.
