Who you are
You have a strong background in conducting investigations, both technical and human, with a focus on insider risk. Your experience includes working closely with IT, legal, and HR teams to identify and mitigate risks effectively. You are skilled in monitoring external threats and conducting sensitive interviews, ensuring that you can gather the necessary information to support investigations. Your technical analysis skills allow you to work with logs from various systems, including SIEM and DLP, to uncover potential risks. You are also familiar with leveraging AI tools to enhance investigation workflows and data analysis, making you a valuable asset to the Insider Risk Team.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your ability to build and maintain documentation is crucial for tracking investigations and improving processes. You are proactive in developing insider risk indicators and scenarios, ensuring that the company is prepared to handle potential threats. You understand the importance of fostering a robust security culture and are committed to supporting education and awareness programs within the organization.
What you'll do
In this role, you will independently conduct end-to-end insider risk investigations, collaborating closely with IT, Detection and Response, Legal, and HR teams. You will monitor and triage external threats targeting employees, ensuring that any potential risks are addressed promptly. Conducting sensitive interviews will be a key part of your responsibilities, allowing you to gather insights from involved parties. You will perform technical analysis of logs from SIEM, DLP, and UEBA systems, leveraging your expertise to identify anomalies and potential threats.
You will utilize AI tools, such as Claude and Claude Code, to accelerate investigation workflows and enhance data analysis. Building and maintaining investigation documentation will be essential for tracking progress and outcomes. You will also play a role in iterating and improving processes, procedures, and systems to detect, mitigate, and investigate insider risks effectively. Working cross-functionally, you will develop and refine insider risk indicators and scenarios, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.
Additionally, you will provide rapid-turnaround security assessments to support business operations, ensuring that the company can operate securely and efficiently. Your involvement in education and awareness programs will help promote a robust security culture, making you an integral part of the Insider Risk Team's mission to protect Anthropic's most critical assets.
