What you'll do

As a Senior Security Engineer at DoorDash, you will be a foundational member of the Internal Investigations team within Security Operations — your primary responsibility will be to monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to anomalous events that may pose risks to the company. You will analyze threat intelligence and develop use cases that enhance our detection capabilities, ensuring that we are prepared for potential insider threats.

You will conduct data analysis to identify patterns and trends that could indicate security risks — your findings will drive detection engineering efforts and inform the development of robust security measures. You will execute complex investigations, collaborating with multiple internal teams to ensure coordinated responses to incidents.

Your role will also involve writing comprehensive reports that detail your findings and recommendations — you will advise on preventative controls to mitigate risks and enhance our security posture. You will work closely with the Director of Security Operations and the Chief Information Security Officer to align security strategies with business goals.
