What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Launch Engineering team, you will own the deployment infrastructure that moves inference code from merge to production — your role will involve designing systems that intelligently schedule deployments and orchestrate validation processes. You will work closely with other engineers to ensure that every model update is deployed safely and quickly, adapting to varying fleet sizes and correctness requirements. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of AI model deployment, making it continuous and unattended.

You will be responsible for driving down cycle time from merge to production, which involves analyzing and optimizing the use of accelerator chips that serve customer traffic. You will collaborate with your team to identify bottlenecks in the deployment process and implement solutions that enhance overall system performance. Your work will help Anthropic achieve its mission of creating reliable and beneficial AI systems that serve millions of users.
