What you'll do

As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer on the Inference team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the critical systems that serve Claude to millions of users worldwide. You will work on intelligent request routing and fleet-wide orchestration across diverse AI accelerators, maximizing compute efficiency to support explosive customer growth. Your role will involve collaborating with researchers and engineers to develop high-performance inference infrastructure, enabling breakthrough research and the development of next-generation models. You will tackle complex, distributed systems challenges across multiple cloud platforms and emerging AI hardware, ensuring that our systems are reliable and efficient.
