You have a strong background in technical program management, ideally with experience in reliability engineering or incident management. You understand the importance of operational excellence and have a proven track record of establishing effective processes and standards in complex environments. Your ability to communicate clearly and coordinate across teams makes you an effective leader during incidents of varying severity.
You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with engineering teams to improve tooling coherence and adoption. You have experience in driving accountability and ensuring that action items are captured and tracked effectively. Your analytical mindset allows you to learn from incidents and implement improvements that enhance overall system reliability.
What you'll do
As a Technical Program Manager at Anthropic, you will own the end-to-end incident management program, establishing response processes, escalation paths, and communication standards. You will lead incident commander rotations, ensuring clear ownership and effective coordination during incidents. Your role will involve driving follow-up accountability by defining how action items are captured, tracked, and completed across teams.
You will partner with engineering teams to improve incident tooling coherence and adoption, leading incident review forums to ensure that learnings are documented and acted upon. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability initiatives at Anthropic, helping to create a safer and more beneficial AI system for users and society.
