Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in technical program management, particularly in reliability and operational excellence. Your background includes a deep understanding of large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure, which you have applied to enhance the reliability of complex systems. You are skilled in leading cross-functional teams and have a proven track record of executing multi-quarter programs that drive significant improvements in performance and reliability.
You possess strong leadership qualities and can effectively partner with senior engineering leaders to define and implement reliability strategies. Your communication skills allow you to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, ensuring alignment across teams. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and are adept at managing high-visibility projects that require meticulous attention to detail.
Desirable
Experience with multi-cloud environments is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest trends in data and AI infrastructure. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on long-term goals. Your ability to mentor and guide junior team members is also valued, as you believe in fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution of reliability initiatives that are foundational to Databricks' mission. You will collaborate closely with engineering managers and technical leads to define long-term goals and ensure that the reliability of our cloud platform meets the highest standards. You will also facilitate cross-company collaboration to ensure that all teams are aligned in their efforts to enhance reliability.
