Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in incident response, and have a strong understanding of various threat landscapes, including external attacks and insider threats. Your background includes developing and deploying security tools, and you are familiar with leveraging advanced technologies such as Large Language Models to enhance detection and response capabilities. You are detail-oriented and have a track record of optimizing incident response processes and metrics for continuous improvement. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working cross-functionally with engineering and security teams to build robust security solutions. You are comfortable participating in on-call rotations and are committed to maintaining high standards of security practices.

Desirable

Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud security practices. You may have worked with various security tools and platforms, enhancing your ability to respond to incidents effectively. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the incident response efforts at Anthropic, covering a wide range of cybersecurity domains. You will develop and deploy novel tooling to monitor for threats and rapidly investigate incidents, ensuring that the organization is prepared to respond effectively to any security challenges. You will create and optimize detection mechanisms, playbooks, and workflows to quickly identify and respond to potential incidents, driving continuous improvement in our security posture. You will review incident response metrics and procedures regularly, collaborating with other teams to enhance our overall security capabilities.
