You have a solid understanding of security protocols and practices, and you are skilled in scripting languages such as Python to develop security solutions.

Your experience includes developing and tuning detection rules to maintain effective operations, and you are familiar with tools like Splunk and Wireshark for monitoring and analysis.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive projects across major security verticals, focusing on Detection and Response infrastructure. You will innovate by building tools for managing the lifecycle of detection rules and automating manual response processes to enhance efficiency. You will ensure visibility and control of OpenAI's endpoint fleet, which includes macOS and Windows systems. Collaborating closely with the security team, you will contribute to improving OpenAI's security posture using AI technologies. Your responsibilities will also include measuring and tuning detection rules to ensure they are effective and sustainable.
