What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Inference team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of systems that serve Claude to millions of users — your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of AI services. You will collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to ensure that the infrastructure supports high-performance inference and enables the development of next-generation AI models.

You will tackle complex distributed systems challenges across multiple AI accelerators and cloud platforms — your expertise will help maximize compute efficiency while supporting explosive customer growth. You will also be involved in performance optimization efforts, ensuring that the systems you build are both efficient and scalable.
