Your expertise in YARA rule infrastructure allows you to create tools for writing, validating, and testing rules against real data. You are proficient in Python and have experience with cloud services like AWS, enabling you to develop scalable solutions that meet the needs of investigators.
You understand the importance of integrating external threat intelligence platforms and have worked with tools such as VirusTotal and Censys. You are detail-oriented and ensure that all systems are well-documented and monitored for performance.
What you'll do
As a Threat Collections Engineer at Anthropic, you will be responsible for building the infrastructure that powers our threat discovery capabilities. This includes developing automated detection systems that utilize disparate signals to identify abusive behavior. You will take projects from proof-of-concept to production, ensuring that they are robust and maintainable.
You will work closely with investigators to understand their needs and help scale what may become a multi-person collections function. Your role will involve creating integrations with external threat intelligence platforms via MCP servers to enable multi-source correlation during investigations. You will also build data pipelines that ingest intelligence from RSS feeds, CTI news sources, and partner sharing, ensuring that our threat intelligence capabilities are comprehensive and effective.
