What you'll do
As a Threat Analyst at Socket, you will analyze numerous unique threats daily, maintaining a standard of quality that sets the industry benchmark for supply chain security. You will author high-impact technical blog posts on malicious open source code packages and extensions, publishing deep-dive research pieces on malicious campaigns, threat actor profiles, novel attack vectors, and ecosystem-wide trends. Your role will involve designing and building automated scripts and tools to streamline malware analysis, enhancing the efficiency of the Threat Research Team. You will collaborate with developers and security teams to strengthen threat detection across multiple programming languages, ensuring that Socket's solutions remain at the forefront of security innovation. You will also engage in continuous learning and knowledge sharing, contributing to a culture of improvement and excellence within the team.
