Overview
Appen is seeking Cantonese Speakers to contribute to an AI speech recognition project. You'll validate audio data to enhance speech recognition models. This role is project-based and requires native fluency in Cantonese.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a native Cantonese speaker residing in Taiwan, with a strong attention to detail and good reading comprehension skills in English. You have the ability to follow guidelines and apply rules to data after reviewing examples, ensuring accuracy and consistency in your work. Your stable internet connection allows you to work remotely with flexible hours, making you an ideal candidate for this project-based opportunity.
What you'll do
In this role, you will join Project Mariva, an AI-powered speech recognition project focused on validating audio data. Your primary responsibility will be to listen to short audio clips and validate them by selecting the correct labels. You will assess whether audio files match their transcriptions and meet quality standards, contributing to the development of next-generation AI technology. You will play a vital role in improving speech recognition for your native language, helping to enhance AI speech recognition accuracy and performance.
