Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience in analog design and architecture. Your expertise includes developing and launching high-volume IC designs, particularly in the context of touch and sensing technologies. You possess strong problem-solving skills and thrive in collaborative environments where engineering excellence and innovation are paramount.
You are adept at analyzing user requirements and translating them into realizable systems. Your experience includes high-level modeling of proposed solutions and creating detailed specifications that guide the development process. You understand the intricacies of analog acquisition and digitization channels, and you are familiar with complex filtering and digital signal processing (DSP).
What you'll do
In this role, you will architect touch sensing systems and the ASICs required to realize them. You will take high-level user requirements and create a realizable system that meets these goals, ensuring that the designs align with Apple's commitment to delivering the best multi-touch user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify critical aspects of how the design will interact with the overall product, fostering a collaborative and hands-on environment.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing applications to determine the best analog front end (AFE) architecture for touch and other sensing ASICs. You will lead the design process, ensuring that all aspects of the architecture are optimized for performance and reliability. You will also be involved in the launch of new technologies, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions that enhance Apple's product offerings.
