Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience in analog ASIC design and development. Your expertise lies in architecting complex systems, particularly in the realm of touch technologies and sensing applications. You possess strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, thriving in a hands-on engineering environment where creativity and innovation are paramount.
Your experience includes developing and launching high-volume integrated circuit designs, showcasing your ability to take high-level user requirements and translate them into realizable systems. You are adept at high-level modeling of proposed solutions and creating detailed specifications that meet user goals. Your background in working cross-functionally allows you to identify critical aspects of design interactions with overall products.
What you'll do
As an Analog Architect at Apple, you will be responsible for architecting touch sensing systems and the ASICs required to realize them. Your role will involve analyzing applications to determine the best analog front end architecture for touch and other sensing ASICs. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the designs you create align with the overall product vision and user experience goals. Your contributions will be central to enabling the worldβs best multi-touch user experience in Apple products.
