Job Description

Who you are

You have deep knowledge of transistor operation and device physics as applied to analog design, which allows you to create innovative solutions in the field. Your expertise extends to designing building blocks like OTAs, OpAmps, PTATs, BGRs, and LDOs, showcasing your ability to handle complex analog circuits. You possess a strong understanding of mixed-signal design techniques, including small-signal analysis, feedback loop theory, and noise analysis, which are crucial for ensuring high performance in your designs. Your familiarity with high-speed interface architectures and designs, along with related sub-blocks like transmitters, receivers, PLLs, DLLs, phase interpolators, and CDRs, positions you as a valuable asset in any engineering team. Extensive hands-on experience in mixed-signal design verification further solidifies your qualifications, enabling you to validate designs effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the development of high-performance analog mixed-signal IPs, which are essential for Apple's innovative products. You will generate all relevant circuit views for complex design flows, including Verilog-A models and timing views, ensuring that your designs meet the highest standards. Running post-layout simulations and validating top-level integration will be key aspects of your daily tasks, allowing you to ensure that all components work seamlessly together. You will also drive layout activities, collaborating closely with other engineers to optimize designs for performance and manufacturability. Reviewing lab measurements will be part of your responsibilities, enabling you to refine and enhance your designs based on real-world data.
