You have a strong background in software design and a passion for creating intuitive APIs that enhance the developer experience. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with multi-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life. Your expertise allows you to evaluate proposals and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality API design. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of maintaining comprehensive access to platform functionality through SDKs. You are also capable of working autonomously while contributing to a small, dynamic team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will advise framework teams on transforming feature plans into well-architected, developer-focused APIs. You will evaluate proposals and provide design guidance to ensure that APIs are consistent and complete. Your responsibilities will include reviewing the needs of Apple applications to identify gaps in functionality and recommending API additions to fill those gaps. You will also help establish and maintain API guidelines for Apple's operating systems, ensuring that the developer experience is as polished as Apple's end-user products.
