Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience, along with 2+ years of software engineering experience focused on API development and backend services. You are passionate about building great software and solving complex technical problems, thriving in a collaborative environment. Your strong technical depth allows you to make informed tradeoffs and decisions, ensuring the reliability and scalability of systems.
You possess excellent judgment for timely technical decisions and can effectively collaborate on design discussions. Your experience in system reliability and backend engineering equips you to contribute meaningfully to the team. You value continuous learning and are eager to improve the developer experience for teams across the company.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work on both backend APIs and frontend services that form the backbone of Apple's CI infrastructure. You will design systems that scale reliably and maintain services that integrate with diverse workflows. Your contributions will directly impact how efficiently Apple's engineers can validate and ship code. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the foundational services and interfaces that enable Appleβs software engineers to build, test, and validate code changes.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the CI systems meet the needs of developers. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise within the CI infrastructure, ensuring that the systems remain fast and reliable.
