What you'll do

As an Applied Scientist on the Accessibility team, you will engage in significant technical and human-centered research challenges that aim to improve accessibility through machine learning. You will collaborate with partner teams across Apple to design, study, and build intelligent interactive technologies that enable people of all abilities to use Apple products effectively. Your work will involve conducting research that addresses grand challenges in accessibility, such as equitable speech access for individuals with disabilities and visual understanding for those who are blind or low vision.

You will be responsible for shaping the direction of research within the Human-Centered Machine Intelligence group, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that enhance user experiences. Your research findings will not only influence product development but also contribute to the broader academic community through publications and presentations.

You will work closely with engineers and product teams to ensure that research insights are translated into practical applications, impacting millions of users.
