You have a strong background in ASIC design, with experience in writing microarchitecture and design specifications. Your expertise includes designing, implementing, and debugging complex logic designs, ensuring that you can tackle the challenges that come with SOC design. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with specialists from various teams, including SOC Design, Verification, Emulation, and Physical Design. Your familiarity with integration activities such as Lint, CDC, Synthesis, and ECO makes you a valuable asset to any project. You are also comfortable collaborating with software and systems teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. Your passion for innovation drives you to seek solutions to complex problems, and you are eager to contribute to the development of groundbreaking products.

Desirable

Experience with additional programming languages such as TCL is a plus, as it can enhance your ability to contribute to various aspects of the design process. A background in hardware technology and a keen interest in transforming the industry will set you apart in this role.

What you'll do

As an ASIC Design Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that are critical to the success of our hardware products. You will write detailed microarchitecture and design specifications that guide the development process. Your role will involve designing and implementing complex logic designs, ensuring that they meet the high standards expected at Apple. You will also debug these designs, addressing any issues that arise during the development cycle. Integration of complex IPs into the SOC will be a key part of your responsibilities, requiring you to work closely with other engineers to ensure seamless functionality.

You will support all front-end integration activities, including Lint, CDC, Synthesis, and ECO, which are essential for maintaining the integrity of the design. Collaboration is at the heart of this role; you will work with specialists from various teams, including SOC Design, SOC Design Verification, Emulation, STA, and Physical Design, to ensure that all aspects of the design are aligned and functioning optimally. Your ability to communicate effectively with software and systems teams will be crucial in delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
