Job Description
Who you are
You have a minimum of 8 years of proven experience in ASIC design, including RTL design and verification β you've developed complex ASICs and are familiar with the latest design tools and methodologies. Your technical skills include proficiency in SystemVerilog, synthesis, and timing analysis, which you have applied in real-world projects to optimize performance and power efficiency.
You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills β you can tackle complex design challenges and ensure robust validation through simulation-based and formal verification techniques. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures that you deliver high-quality designs that meet stringent performance and power goals.
Collaboration is key in your work β you excel in cross-functional teams, effectively communicating with hardware and software engineers to integrate digital designs into complex SoCs. Your ability to document and report on micro-architecture and design processes is essential for maintaining clarity and alignment within the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and verification of complex ASICs β your work will directly impact the performance and efficiency of Appleβs products. You will develop RTL using SystemVerilog and engage with simulation-based and formal verification teams to ensure robust design validation.
You will collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to integrate digital designs into complex SoCs, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. Conducting timing analysis and power optimization will be a critical part of your responsibilities, as you strive to achieve optimal performance, power, and area (PPA) goals.
You will create detailed micro-architecture and design documentation, which will serve as a reference for your team and future projects. Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers, sharing your expertise, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
