Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in the industry, demonstrating a solid understanding of communication theory and signal processing. Your expertise includes AGC, beamforming, Tx power control, and calibration algorithms, which are essential for the role. You are proficient in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++, and you have experience with efficient analysis and automation scripting. Your communication skills are excellent, both written and verbal, especially in a multi-functional environment, allowing you to collaborate effectively with various teams. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to tackle complex challenges in cellular system engineering.
What you'll do
As a Cellular System Engineer at Apple, you will engage in the architecture stages of cellular SoCs, working hands-on from design to productization. You will be responsible for the pre- and post-silicon bring-up and validation of end-to-end cellular systems, ensuring that the systems meet the required specifications. Your role will involve mapping systems algorithms and requirements to hardware and firmware architecture, as well as conducting simulation and emulation-based validation of control flows and algorithms. You will collaborate with product development groups across Apple to push the boundaries of wireless systems technologies, enhancing the product experience for customers worldwide. Your contributions will be critical in innovating new wireless systems that outperform expectations.
