Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in the industry, particularly in building innovative hardware and software for RF transceivers. You possess a solid understanding of communication theory and signal processing, including AGC, beamforming, and Tx power control. Your experience with calibration algorithms and mitigation of radio impairments sets you apart. You are proficient in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++, and you excel in analysis and automation scripting. Your communication skills are excellent, both written and verbal, especially in a multi-functional environment, allowing you to convey complex ideas clearly. You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which are crucial for this role.

What you'll do

As a Cellular System Engineer at Apple, you will engage in the architecture stages of cellular SoCs, collaborating with various teams to design, implement, verify, validate, and productize sophisticated transceiver architectures. You will be responsible for the pre- and post-silicon bring-up and validation of end-to-end cellular systems. Your role will involve mapping systems algorithms and requirements to hardware and firmware architecture, as well as conducting simulation and emulation-based validation of control flows and algorithms. You will work closely with product development groups across Apple to push the boundaries of wireless systems technologies, ensuring that the products meet and exceed customer expectations.
