Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong foundation in computer vision techniques and machine learning, with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field. Your proven mentorship experience has led to positive outcomes, showcasing your ability to guide and support others in their professional development. You possess clear technical communication skills that allow you to convey complex concepts across a range of audiences, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals. Your strong programming abilities in Python, along with proficiency in at least one additional language, enable you to tackle diverse technical challenges effectively.
Desirable
Experience with vision-specific libraries and toolkits such as PyTorch and TorchVision is preferred, as is a background in security engineering, fraud detection, or edge machine learning deployment. Familiarity with real-time decisioning systems will also be beneficial in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will join a dynamic AI and Machine Learning team focused on protecting millions of users from fraud and securing their identity every day. You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge research and production systems, collaborating across Appleβfrom other ML teams to Operations to Engineering. Your contributions will directly impact computer vision initiatives that protect users from fraud and identity theft, combining applied research with production deployment. You will have the autonomy to make meaningful technical decisions in a supportive, high-visibility environment, allowing you to see your work from methodology through implementation.
