Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of proven experience in computer vision and embedded systems. Your expertise lies at the intersection of algorithm performance and system resources, allowing you to navigate the complexities of real-time constraints effectively. You are an excellent engineer and a phenomenal collaborator, comfortable communicating with a wide range of experts and leaders across various domains, from firmware and operating systems to feature and experience design.
You have a validated ability to work in a highly multi-functional environment, demonstrating your adaptability and problem-solving skills. Your experience includes developing computer vision algorithms and understanding the trade-offs involved in imaging pipelines. You thrive in collaborative settings and are eager to influence software architecture and product design through your technical insights.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving exciting programs across many Apple products by co-designing computer vision algorithms and systems. You will work closely with firmware and low-level software teams to ensure that the algorithms you develop meet the performance and quality standards expected at Apple. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience, as you innovate through the full stack of technology.
