Who you are
You are a full-stack data scientist with over 6 years of experience applying data science techniques to real business problems. You have a strong ability to turn ambiguous product or business questions into clear data solutions, showcasing your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Your programming and data skills are robust, particularly in Python and SQL, allowing you to work effectively with large-scale data pipelines. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to collaborate across teams and articulate complex data insights clearly. Your experience includes defining KPIs that reflect real product health, ensuring that metrics are not only accurate but also actionable. You are comfortable working with telemetry and measurement, understanding their importance in product development.
What you'll do
In this role, you will define how success and reliability are measured for Apple Intelligence and Siri software. You will connect feature delivery, on-device telemetry, and data insights to help teams understand real user experiences and make better engineering decisions. Your responsibilities will include designing product health metrics and ensuring that measurement is integrated into every feature from the start. You will be the face of the metrics team for cross-functional partners, owning KPIs end to end from definitions and instrumentation to reporting. You will build a strong understanding of on-device telemetry, engineering workflows, CI/CD practices, and data systems, using that context to create clear and reliable metrics. Collaborating closely with engineering, data science, and leadership, you will drive alignment and decisions based on the metrics you develop.
