Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and over 10 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, particularly in ASIC design. Your familiarity with the ASIC design flow and knowledge of digital design principles make you a strong candidate for this role. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Your expertise in SoC design allows you to understand the intricacies of CPU-based subsystems, and you are adept at defining debug features that align with power, performance, and area objectives. You possess strong problem-solving skills and can guide validation engineers effectively in diagnosing issues.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of a small team focused on designing CPU-based subsystems for high-performance, low-power wireless SoCs. You will collaborate with SoC architects and IP developers to define and implement debug features that meet the necessary design goals. Your responsibilities will include owning the design for the debug and trace hub, ensuring that all subsystems implement the required debug features.
You will also play a critical role in guiding validation engineers in utilizing these features to diagnose and resolve issues, making your contributions vital to the success of the ASIC debug efforts.
