What you'll do
As the Director of Software Engineering for the Apple Service Engineering team, you will lead and inspire a world-class team of software engineers to build and deliver secure solutions that underpin very large scale services at Apple. You will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic vision for software security across all of Apple Services Engineering. This includes ensuring that security is integrated into the initial design of systems, deployment processes, and the infrastructure that supports them.
You will collaborate closely with other leaders within the security team to address complex security challenges and drive the implementation of best practices across the organization. Your role will involve leading high-performing engineering teams in a security-first environment, where you will work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of innovative security solutions.
You will also be responsible for mentoring software engineering teams, fostering a culture of open source development, and ensuring that your teams are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to tackle the evolving landscape of security threats. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and security of Apple's services, which are relied upon by billions of customers worldwide.
