Who you are
You have a strong background in display technology and engineering, with experience in developing and characterizing flat panel displays. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with multi-functional teams, including optical, electrical, and mechanical engineers. You possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to perform data analysis and image processing tasks efficiently. Your scripting abilities help automate lab-level measurements, enhancing productivity and accuracy in testing. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring that display performance specifications are met throughout the development process.
Desirable
Experience with display testing and vendor collaboration is a plus, as is familiarity with failure analysis and documentation practices. A passion for innovation in display technology will set you apart in this role.
What you'll do
As a Display Engineer at Apple, you will lead the development of display modules for new iPhone projects, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers. Your responsibilities will include hands-on characterization of electro-optical performance and conducting thorough data analysis to ensure that all specifications are met. You will serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers, managing communication and collaboration to address any issues that arise during the development process. Additionally, you will document your findings and present them to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams.
