Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience, with a deep understanding of transistor device characteristics and ESD circuit design techniques. Your hands-on experience with design/layout EDA tools, including Virtuoso, Calibre, and Allegro, sets you apart. You are familiar with ESD testing models such as HBM, CDM, MM, and IEC-61000-4-2, which are crucial for ensuring robust designs. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working with diverse teams and external vendors to meet high-quality standards.
Desirable
A Master's degree and additional years of experience would be advantageous, as would any certifications related to ESD design. Your ability to debug activities and apply state-of-the-art ESD techniques will enhance your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will ensure that all ICs developed by and for Apple meet stringent ESD specifications and manufacturing requirements. You will work in a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality on-chip IPs that are immune to ESD/EOS and latchup events. Your responsibilities will include designing ESD robust solutions that minimize costs while maintaining mission-mode functions. You will also engage in debugging activities and collaborate with external vendors to ensure compliance with Apple's high standards.
What we offer
Apple provides a dynamic work environment where innovation is at the forefront. You will have the opportunity to work on challenges that push the boundaries of technology and contribute to products that enrich people's lives. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds. Join us and be part of a culture that fosters growth and excellence.
