Who you are

You have over 10 years of relevant industry experience in ESD design, showcasing a deep understanding of transistor device characteristics and ESD circuit design techniques. Your expertise includes hands-on experience with design/layout EDA tools such as Virtuoso, Calibre, and Allegro, which you have used to ensure high-quality on-chip IPs immune to ESD/EOS and latchup events. You are familiar with testing models for ESD, including HBM, CDM, MM, and IEC-61000-4-2, and you understand the importance of delivering designs that meet stringent specifications while minimizing costs.

You thrive in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with diverse groups within Apple and external vendors to tackle challenges that require innovative solutions. Your strong fundamentals in ESD design enable you to lead projects effectively, ensuring that all silicon developed meets Apple's high expectations for quality and efficiency. What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the ESD and Latch-Up requirements for all integrated circuits developed by and for Apple. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs that are robust against ESD and latchup events. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that designs meet Apple's ESD specifications and manufacturing requirements, as well as conducting thorough testing and validation of ESD performance.

You will also be involved in debugging activities and collaborating with external vendors to ensure that all components meet the necessary standards. Your role may require occasional travel to support project needs and foster relationships with partners. You will be expected to stay updated on state-of-the-art ESD circuit design techniques and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes within the team.
