Job Description

Who you are

You have a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 3-5+ years of experience in the industry, demonstrating a strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal fundamentals. Your background includes working in a consumer electronics environment, where you've dealt with high-volume and high-quality products. You are familiar with the design of portable low-power products and have experience with semiconductor design. Your skills in hardware prototyping and troubleshooting are well-honed, allowing you to effectively support manufacturing and production tests.

You possess a deep understanding of mixed-signal building blocks and are comfortable working with multi-functional teams on systems-level designs. Your experience includes schematic and layout reviews, as well as systems validation. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to engage with internal HW/SW teams, Contract Manufacturer teams, and IC vendor teams throughout various development stages.

Desirable

Experience in prototyping and familiarity with low-power electronics will set you apart. You are adept at using tools like MATLAB and Python, which are essential for your role in developing future iPhone products. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams will enhance your contributions to the design and integration processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be at the focal point of many multi-functional interactions, working closely with Apple’s internal HW/SW teams and external partners. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and integration of various analog function blocks and subsystems, including sensors, power, audio, and battery management. Your work will involve hardware prototyping and demonstrations, as well as collaborating with IC vendors throughout the custom silicon design cycle.

You will perform schematic and layout reviews, ensuring that designs meet the required specifications and quality standards. Your role will also include providing support for manufacturing and production tests, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise during the development process. You will engage in systems validation, ensuring that all components function seamlessly together.
