Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience in electrical design, particularly in display technologies. Your expertise includes PCB design, where you've successfully handled component selection, schematic capture, and layout. You are proficient in using circuit simulation tools such as HSPICE or Spectre, which you have utilized to validate designs and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Your experience extends to prototype IC or PCB bring-up, validation, and failure analysis, showcasing your ability to manage the entire lifecycle of electrical design projects. You possess strong coding or scripting skills, which enhance your capability to automate tasks and improve design processes. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet user needs.

What you'll do

As a Display Electrical Design Engineer at Apple, you will drive the electrical design requirements for display modules from concept through to mass production. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure a coherent end-to-end solution that challenges the status quo. Your role will involve defining validation plans and managing vendors to ensure the production of high-quality products. You will contribute to the overall module architecture, including custom silicon requirements and intellectual properties, ensuring that the designs meet the best-in-class performance, quality, and reliability standards.

You will be responsible for pushing the envelope in display technology, designing exciting new products that impact user experience for hundreds of millions of people. Your work will require creativity and innovation, as you will not only select off-the-shelf components but also define new ones that meet the advanced requirements of Apple's mobile display modules.
