Who you are

You have over 10 years of relevant industry experience in electrical engineering, particularly in ESD and latch-up design. Your strong fundamentals in transistor device characteristics enable you to tackle complex challenges in silicon design. You are proficient in English and thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with diverse teams and external vendors.

Your expertise includes a deep understanding of models used for testing ESD, such as HBM, CDM, MM, and IEC-61000-4-2. You are familiar with state-of-the-art ESD circuit design techniques and topologies, ensuring robust designs that meet stringent requirements. Hands-on experience with design/layout EDA tools, including Virtuoso, Calibre, and Allegro, is essential for your success in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the ESD and Latch-Up requirements for all ICs developed by and for Apple. You will work in a cross-functional team that delivers high-quality on-chip IPs immune to ESD/EOS and latch-up events. Your mission is to ensure that the silicon is designed to meet Apple's ESD specifications and manufacturing requirements, balancing performance with cost-effectiveness.

You will collaborate with various teams within Apple and external vendors to address challenges and innovate solutions that enhance product quality and efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact the design and functionality of Apple's products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
