Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in electromagnetic analysis methodologies, particularly in RFIC and multi-die designs. Your understanding of Maxwellβs equations and field theory allows you to develop and validate EM simulation flows effectively. You are proficient in using Electromagnetic Finite-Element 3D solvers and Method-of-Moments solvers, and you have experience in modeling complex package and interposer structures to ensure robust signal integrity and performance.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to streamline and automate SOC EM analysis CAD flows. Your collaborative nature enables you to work effectively with design groups, ensuring that the integration of physical design meets the high standards expected at Apple. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining state-of-the-art tools and methodologies in your work.
Desirable
Experience with advanced packaging and 3DIC systems is a plus, as is familiarity with high-accuracy extraction of S-parameters. You are eager to contribute to groundbreaking technologies and have a passion for innovation in the field of electronics.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be a core member of Apple's CAD organization, shaping next-generation electromagnetic analysis methodologies. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and supporting leading vendors' electromagnetic solvers, streamlining the EM analysis CAD flow, and collaborating with design teams to ensure high-performance outcomes. You will apply your technical expertise to develop simulation flows that enhance the reliability and performance of Appleβs hardware products.
You will also be responsible for modeling complex structures and ensuring that the electromagnetic performance meets the rigorous standards set by Apple. Your contributions will directly impact the development of innovative technologies that define the future of Apple products.
