Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong electrical engineering background with at least 10 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in analog/mixed-signal testing methodologies. Your expertise includes owning validation and test efforts on products, ensuring they meet high-performance standards. You hold a BS degree, and a Master's or PhD is preferred, along with a multidisciplinary understanding of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and physics principles.
You are proficient in software and algorithm prototyping and analysis using scripting languages like MATLAB and Python. Your willingness to wear multiple hats and dive deep into issues showcases your problem-solving skills and commitment to engineering excellence. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to the development of next-gen touch technologies.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop strategies and solutions that ensure Apple products meet exacting touch performance standards. You will be responsible for the development and execution of validation and characterization methodologies for Apple's touch solutions, from proof-of-concept to mass production. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience through innovative touch technologies.
You will engage in hands-on testing and validation processes, analyzing data to refine touch performance and user interaction. Your role will require you to break down existing algorithms to enhance understanding and improve methodologies.
