Who you are

You have a strong electrical engineering background with at least 10 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in analog/mixed-signal testing methodologies. Your expertise includes owning validation and test efforts on products, ensuring they meet high-performance standards. You hold a BS degree, and a MS or PhD is preferred, along with a multidisciplinary understanding of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and physics principles.

You are proficient in software and algorithm prototyping and analysis using scripting languages like MATLAB and Python. Your willingness to wear multiple hats and dive deep into issues showcases your problem-solving skills and dedication to enhancing existing algorithms. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to the development of next-gen touch technologies.

Desirable

A master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with 5+ years of industry experience. Familiarity with hardware validation processes and a strong understanding of user experience principles will set you apart. You are comfortable working in a hands-on environment that fosters creativity and innovation.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop strategies and solutions to ensure that Apple products meet exacting touch performance standards. You will be responsible for the development and execution of validation and characterization methodologies for Apple’s touch solutions, from proof-of-concept to mass production. Your work will directly impact the user experience of Apple devices, including iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative touch solutions that enhance user interaction with devices. Your role will involve rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards before mass production. You will also engage in problem-solving discussions and contribute to the overall engineering excellence of the Touch Technology team.
