You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and at least 4 years of experience in low-level software development. Your proficiency in C and C++ allows you to develop multithreaded software in embedded environments effectively. You are familiar with image sensors, image processing techniques, and camera pipelines, which are essential for this role. Your experience with macOS or iOS driver development enhances your ability to contribute to Apple's innovative projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to collaborate effectively within a close-knit team.

What you'll do

As a Camera ISP Engineer, you will develop firmware and drivers for sophisticated image processing pipelines in embedded systems, focusing on the latest SoC blocks and chipsets at Apple. You will work closely with the algorithm team to design and develop algorithms that control CMOS image sensors and the ISP pipeline. Your role will involve defining how Apple develops, tests, and manufactures its products, ensuring that you contribute to groundbreaking technologies that enhance user experiences across all Apple devices. You will also be responsible for maintaining and testing new camera and ISP features, ensuring they meet Apple's high standards for quality and performance.
