Your expertise in reliability and operational excellence allows you to establish robust feedback loops from production operations and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams. You understand the importance of metrics, reporting, and analytics in creating visibility into coverage and risk, helping teams identify gaps and assess production risk effectively. You are committed to continuous improvement and have a passion for enhancing engineering velocity across the organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the transformation of Apple's testing and validation infrastructure at scale. You will architect comprehensive developer platforms that empower thousands of engineers across Apple. Your responsibilities will include defining the testing and validation strategy, building infrastructure that removes friction from validation, and creating visibility into coverage and risk through metrics and analytics. You will collaborate closely with production operations and SRE to drive feedback loops that enhance the effectiveness of testing processes.

You will also be responsible for championing the adoption of best practices in testing and validation across various teams, ensuring that developers have the tools they need to validate their work early and often. Your leadership will directly impact engineering velocity and production reliability, making this a mission-critical function within Apple. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that the testing infrastructure aligns with organizational goals and meets the needs of diverse developer communities.
