With a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, you possess strong programming, debugging, and design skills in Swift, C, or C++. You are passionate about developing frameworks and APIs that enhance user experiences across multiple platforms.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager of the Core Graphics team, you will lead the development of future CoreGraphics, ImageIO, and PDF features and APIs that will be utilized across all Apple platforms. You will be responsible for project planning and ensuring timely delivery of your team’s features, while also coordinating with partner teams to align on goals and expectations. Your role will involve mentoring team members, helping them grow their skills, and fostering a collaborative environment where creativity can flourish.

You will take an active role in the hiring process, seeking out talented individuals who can contribute to the team’s success. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining a high level of productivity and morale within the team, as you navigate the complexities of project demands and team dynamics. You will also engage with sibling UI Framework teams to ensure that the graphics technologies you develop integrate seamlessly with other components of Apple’s ecosystem.
