What you'll do
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of Appleโs cloud compute services, including infrastructure, software, and operations, collaborating closely with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) partners. You will lead and grow engineering and research initiatives to build Apple Cloud Compute, focusing specifically on Kubernetes-backed compute offerings. Your leadership will guide highly performant teams as they research, align, architect, drive, and build solutions that support Appleโs cloud engineering efforts.
You will be responsible for optimizing Virtual Machines, Kubernetes, Containers, and Batch Workloads, ensuring that Appleโs cloud infrastructure is robust and efficient. Your role will involve strategic decision-making and technical leadership, as you work to align engineering efforts with the broader goals of the organization. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing your team, fostering an environment where innovation can thrive.
