You have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and bring over 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally with a focus on commodity finance or supply chain finance. Your proven knowledge of Excel allows you to analyze complex financial data effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments and are detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and analysis. You understand the dynamics of commodity markets and can forecast prices with precision, contributing to strategic sourcing decisions.
Desirable
Experience in cost accounting or financial analysis within a global supply chain context is a plus. Familiarity with financial modeling and reporting tools will enhance your ability to provide insights that drive profitability. You are comfortable working with minimal supervision and can handle complex, non-routine tasks that impact the organization’s gross margin. Your analytical mindset enables you to identify variances and optimize costs effectively.
What you'll do
As a Commodity Financial Analyst at Apple, you will play a critical role in managing commodity costs and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will contribute to the overall success of the Worldwide Procurement Finance group, ensuring that financial strategies align with Apple's business objectives.
