Who you are

You are a multifaceted engineer with a strong background in silicon technologies and a passion for creating elegant solutions to complex challenges. You have experience in developing system-level test programs for debug, characterization, qualification, and production of SoC devices. Your attention to detail ensures that every aspect of the technology you work on meets the high standards expected at Apple.

You possess a deep understanding of high-speed IO PHYs, including SERDES and PLLs, and are skilled in defining characterization plans and performing statistical data analysis. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive ATE-Bench correlation and data reviews. Your analytical mindset allows you to perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for characterizing the parametric performance of high-speed IO PHYs and other custom HardIPs. You will define characterization plans and perform statistical data analysis to ensure the efficiency and performance of Apple’s next-generation SoCs. Collaborating with design, validation, test engineering, and manufacturing teams, you will support the productization of cutting-edge technologies.

You will also evaluate IP testability and drive new silicon debug efforts, ensuring that all silicon characterization activities are signed off with precision. Your role will involve completing yield and correlation analysis for all test insertions and supporting test time reduction related characterization. You will be at the forefront of developing innovative solutions that enhance the performance of Apple products, making them beloved by millions.
